1972

Decor-Rest Chesterfield is incorporated and Marzilli’s rent their first factory at 40 Wabash Avenue, Toronto.

1976

Decor-Rest grows faster than expected and moves to larger facility to function better, renting a new space at 98 Floral Parkway, Toronto.

1980

The Marzilli’s fulfill their ambition to own their factory and Decor-Rest relocates to their new corporate home at 17 Milvan Drive, Toronto.

1994

The Marzilli’s expand once again to a larger factory, incorporating a showroom within the same building, located at 233 Signet Drive, Toronto.

1995

Decor-Rest enters High Point Market and opens an 8,000 sq. ft. showroom on 208 Jacobs Place, High Point, North Carolina to serve it’s international customers.

2000

The Marzilli’s were innovative about creating additional space their vision was still on the move when they bought land on 511 Chrislea Road, Woodbridge and constructed the Millennium project.

2001

The teams dedication has been recognized by the furniture industry with more national Trillium Awards than any other upholstery company for superiority of product design and marketability.

2005

Decor-Rest begins importing accents from around the world to offer a total solution.

2007

Decor-Rest partners with S&C designers and media personalities Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman of Steven & Chris.

2012

Decor-Rest successfully inaugurates it’s third showroom with 10,000 sq. ft. located in Las Vegas.

2013

Angelo Marzilli receives the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award from Canadian Home Furnishings Alliance.

2016

Decor-Rest opens a new distribution center in North Carolina.

2017

Angelo Marzilli Jr. is named the President of the family owned company. Angelo Marzilli SR assumes the role of Chairman and Christina Marzilli is appointed the Managing Director.

2018

For more than 45 years, Decor-Rest has been proud Canadian success story built upon the aspirations of young enterprising business couple who, now, together with their extended family, oversee a furniture manufacturing business that comprises hundreds satisfied and loyal customers, a 250,000 sq. ft. base of operations in Woodbridge, Ontario and showrooms in High Point, North Carolina and Las Vegas, Nevada.
